Role-based access control, link colors and routing styles, auto-layout improvements, faster app load times, and more.
Role-Based Access Control
Professional and Enterprise customers can now assign different roles to organization members:
- Admin – can manage the organization and invite new members.
- Member – can manage cases and create or edit entities.
- Member (read-only) – can view cases and entities.
Links Improvements
You now can customize the appearance of links on your graphs with new color options. You can use different link colors to represent confidence, type of connection, or any other idea you find useful.
You can also now switch between bezier, straight, and step link styles. For that, right-click on the graph pane, select "Link style", and pick the style you prefer.
Auto-Layout
You can now choose to apply graph layout automatically on change. As soon as entities or links are added or removed, the graph will be rearranged using your preferred algorithm.
Faster App Load
At Malfors, we strive for better performance. Malfors v1.4 loads 2.5x faster (1s → 400ms). We achieved this by eliminating cross-origin requests, combining bootstrap requests, and implementing a better caching strategy.
Other Fixes
- Entity and link details are now saved when the panel is closed with the Esc key.
- Switching organizations now automatically navigates away from the Case page to avoid permission errors.
